  • No lateral academy required.

  • Salary is based on a 6-tier pay structure: $82,148 - $112,700.

  • Laterals are given 1:1 credit for previous certified law enforcement experience.

  • 2:1 credit for Military Police experience.

  • 17-23 hours accrued vacation leave per month (based on years of service with DCSO).

  • 8 hours accrued sick leave per month.
