  • No lateral academy required
  • Salary is based on a 7-tier pay structure:
    $78,988 - $108,365
  • Laterals are given 1:1 credit for previous certified law enforcement experience
  • 2:1 credit for Military Police experience
  • 17-23 hours accrued vacation leave per month
    (based on years of service with DCSO)
  • 8 hours accrued sick leave per month

  • Combined 13% retirement match for all commissioned personnel
